SILVER CITY, NEW MEXICO

nothing but good here! everyone, everything, has been good in silver city...thus far. my first night here we stayed at silver city rv park which is right in the middle of town, which was convenient for my first night here, although camp prices are outrageous...$17.50 per night. ouch! so we only stayed one night.

but before leaving...town is only three-ish blocks away. so we walked. the first question i asked was "how dog friendly are we talking here?" the guy at the hike and bike shop got real wide eyed, like "are you kidding me?!?!"
...there is a two dog minimum, he said. smiley me practically skipping down the side walk.

very cute down town...small...but has everything...bar, coffee, bakery, deli, health food store / coop, theatre...

...and no cute town is complete without an ultra cool vintage/junk store...
the market place
waaaay tooo dangerous for meeee!

imports

i thought that taking photos of the jewelry behind glass cases would be tasteless and warrant suspicion, so i opted out of taking one of the carved stone flower on silk cord that i so badly fell in love with. can't be buying such beauties for myself, not to mention all the other lovlies i wish i could buy my friends back in marathon, when it's gas and food that's gonna get me on down the road....
