FAST FOOD GIANT McDONALD'S FAILS IN BOLIVIA
wow! with hundreds of mcdonald's locations popping up all over the globe and dominating the diets of cultures that have regionally been local and healthy, the corporate fast food giant was forced to close it's 8 Bolivian locations in La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz after only 5 years of operation. why? according to documentary film maker Fernando Martinez, it's because of the "country’s fierce local food culture". read more about it at treehugger, and watch this.
