ok, so next time my dad is watching a baseball game and i happen to be walking through the living room with an arm load of laundry and turn to glance at the tv to see Chipper Jones rounding the bases to home i hope to GOD i see him slug Brian McCann in the jaw for grabbing his ass at home plate. seriously. and Jones being put on probation from the majors for accusing McCann in alleged sexual assault. THIS, would never happen...because it's OK IN TESTOSTERONE DRIVEN MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR SPORTS!!!
but i'll bet my big toe that if the gay man wasn't gay the disciplinary action for the marines would have been a little more severe than just restrictions to the base.
further more, it's a sad world we live in where there has to be a law SPECIFICALLY outlining hate crimes PARTICULARLY against lgbt peoples, AND that there are 5 states that still don't enforce it??!!
hate is hate. a crime is a crime. a human is a human.
keep the pot smokers safe because after all, who are they hurting? and keep the cells vacant for the real doers of harm.
