so i started writing the below and didn't realize i had already posted this blog. ha! so i'm posting dos.
the park itself was nothing to report back home about...in fact, the coronado park had more saguero than this one. plus, the sprawling burbs of tucson were visible right there at the edge of the park...and i don't mean just visible...i mean that i could see the toys in the sand box. but we kind of got lucky with the weather...typically people wouldn't go out in weather like this...rainy, foggy, cold....but this is a region that rarely sees quickly rolling fog in the craggy mountain cliffs accompanied with a drizzle that the desert flora instantly drinks up.
