originating south of sierra vista near sonora mexico (20 miles from bisbee), one of two north flowing streams from mexico. of major ecological importance, it hosts two thirds of the avian diversity in the US. bright green cotton woods line the banks, and you can see it from miles away, as far you can see south, and as far as you can see north.
